Plastering is an art in itself, and takes a lot of experience to actually provide a smooth finish.
One of the number one rules when it comes to plastering is always check the date on the multi finish. If the multi finish past the expiry date, don’t even bother using it.
4) Invest in a decent plaster mixer. It will not only mix the plaster far better than you would by hand, it will create a much smoother mix. Cheapest option would be using a drill with the mixer end, but this is highly likely to burn the drill considering you’re using this massive mixer connection. A decent mixer will set you back between £50-£300.
A really good mixer is the VonHaus 1600W paddle mixer.
